Norwich VT, 1986.  My clients liked their previous home but needed a bigger one for their expanding family, so they asked me to design a larger house on the same model

At 3,500 sq. ft with a walk-out lower level, it has an open floorplan with 9 foot ceilings and dramatic spaces on the main floor with lots of unique and private spaces elsewhere.  It has 3 porches (one screened), a large home office, and plenty of storage space.  With a convenient living “flow”, this house is large enough for a family and a home business but still fits comfortably on its site.  It features a blend of standard framing with beamed ceilings, a lot of natural (and local) wood, and many other design touches.
